Catherine Stubbings

Catherine specialises in analysing and linking disparate issues and policy areas to develop creative, deliverable solutions. She has broad knowledge of the housing industry with in depth experience of housing strategy, policy and management. As Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) and active member of the CIH SE branch and the SE Housing Learning Improvement Network steering group she seeks to contribute to and learn from the evolving housing agenda.

She has over 20 years' experience in housing, planning, health and social care in local and regional government and as a housing association board member. As lead officer for the SE Regional Housing Board, working with Government departments, agencies and local stakeholders, she became skilled in partnership working, influencing and interpreting policy and guidance. She led research into housing need in rural communities and among older people.

Catherine's core skills are in research, analysis and option development, partnership building and - as a qualified further education tutor - in resident, councillor/ board and staff training.
