Steve's key areas of expertise are around service and business improvement, DLO review and turnaround, procurement and organisational change. He has helped more than 17 housing associations prepare for and manage Audit Commission Inspections, enabling them to achieve an average rating of two stars with promising prospects.
Building on 17 years' experience in housing associations and local government - mostly at Director level - he has run his own successful consultancy since 2002. Focussing on organisational change and improvement, he has also undertaken interim Director roles in Operations and Development. During a four year associate relationship with Savills he was involved in or led stock transfers, housing association mergers and growth strategies.
Recently Steve has led a number of successful OJEU procurement exercises and performance improvement commissions to improve response repairs and void management services.
